RESIDENTIAL SERVICE:

 

Do you offer residential trash and recycling service in my town?

Looking for a dependable, local, family owned trash and recycling company?

We provide service to residents in the following towns: Amherst, Easthampton, Northampton, Deerfield, South Deerfield, Florence, Greenfield, Hadley, Hatfield, Bernardston, Buckland, Northfield, Montague, Shelburne, Sunderland, Turners Falls, Westhampton, and Whatley. What kind of trash bin can I expect when I sign up for residential service?

You only pay for what you produce! We have 3 different size roll carts to choose from based your individual needs! Two recycling bins are also provided. *See Cart Sizes Here*

 

What time should I have my trash and recycling out?

Trash and recycling should be out by 7:00am on collection day. We ask that all trash be bagged and tied, which reduces litter.

 

Pick up times: Pick up times vary due to weather, trash volume, traffic, etc. We ask that you have your trash and recycling out by 7:00am weekly regardless of what time the drivers “usually come”.

 

What should I do if my pick up was missed? If missed through our error, please contact us between the hours of 7:00am and 4:00pm. You can also leave an after-hours message.

 

What if I have extra trash? If you have extra trash bags, or bulky items, please contact us. We usually can add extra trash or special items to our schedule on your normal pickup day.

 

What materials can you take? At an additional charge: leaves, grass clippings, furniture, mattresses, dried paint cans (with covers off), construction debris, all electronics, including; TVs computer monitors, CRTs and other misc. bulky items.

 

What materials can’t you take? Hazardous waste, liquid paint, fluorescent light bulbs and fixtures, large branches over 2” in diameter, trees.

 

Do you offer free bulky waste pickups? Your residential service includes 2 free bulky waste pickups a year (in most towns). Spring is metal pickup (excluding-refrigeration units, TVs, CRTs, Monitors) and fall is furniture pickup (excluding-mattresses and box springs). Customers are allowed 2 large items each. Notices for these dates will be printed on your bill.

 

Do you pick up Christmas Trees? Yes, we offer free Christmas tree pick up. Dates will be posted on duseautrucking.com in January. Customers are asked to contact our office to get on their towns list.

 

I’m doing a clean out or small renovation project but don’t have enough for a dumpster. Can you take this on my regular trash day? We can do a one-time pickup for a minimal fee. This can usually be scheduled on your regular pickup day. Please contact our office staff for details, and a free estimate!

 

Where can I find information about holidays? The Holidays Observed list can be found on our Recycling Info/Calendar, dates are also outlined in bold squares on the calendar!

 

If service is delayed due to weather conditions or holidays how will I be notified? Notices go out by email, posted on duseautrucking.com and our Facebook page.

 

How can I sign up for notices? Please join our email list by going to: customerservice@duseautrucking.com, or call us during our normal business hours.

 

Do you offer a senior discount? Yes! Customers 65+ will receive a 10% discount for residential curbside service. Please contact us if you qualify.

 

We’ll be out of town for a few weeks, can we suspend service? Just call and let us know ahead of time, and we will be happy to credit your account.

 

How are bills sent? Residential accounts are billed quarterly by email or regular mail. To sign up for e-bills or view or pay your bill online; go to trashbilling.com. Please contact our office if you need assistance!

 

What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Checks, MasterCard, Visa and Debit cards. Bills can be viewed and paid online at Trashbilling.com.

 

Do you accept payments over the phone? Yes! We would be happy to help! Please contact us during normal business hours.

 

RECYCLING:

 

When does recycling go out? Recycling is collected on alternating weeks for paper/cardboard, then recyclable containers. Bins should be placed on the curb weekly next to your trash. Two recycling bins are provided, one for paper and one for containers. Additional recycling will be collected in open containers marked with an “R”.

 

Where can I find recycling information and schedules? Recycling Schedule/ Information will be mailed in your first quarter bill and can be found and printed at duseautrucking.com. Please note that there are 2 different schedules, one for Amherst customers only, and one for all other towns.

 

What if I have extra recycling that doesn’t fit in the recycling bins provided? Recycling is unlimited! If you need an extra recycling bin we can provide one. Extra recycling can also be put out in any open container as long as it is clearly marked recycling with a letter “R”.

 

ROLL OFF BOXES:

 

I’m doing a clean out or construction/renovations/roofing job and need a roll off box can you provide one? We have 15 and 30 yard roll off boxes available for residential jobs. Please contact us for details and a free estimate.
